Jon Snow is a person who lives in eternal denial. He is a passionate human being and is thus drawn to strong women. Once he is loved by them, the guy gets robbed of the passion within. His fundamentals are the moral codes, with which he defines himself. Hence he latches onto these 'values' in order to distance himself from the amoral or unjust character he truly is deep down. The women who are drawn to him only fall for his innocent manipulative charm. There has hardly ever been a woman on this planet who has not understood when she is not loved by her lover.
Both Yygritte and Dany suffer the same fate. They both realize what tragedies they are! They can never undo the love that Jon ignites with his apparent foolish heroism and they know that once his love has eroded, it is only going to be a Ghost of its former self. Talk about Bittersweet!
No matter how much they want to call out the demon in him, he will find a saviour in humanity's moral codes.
Some hearts are so trapped in themselves, even five daggers through them are not enough to break the chains/ the wheel.
The greatness of writing/story telling lies in not stating the obvious but in hiding the obvious in a murky sight of fire, ash and snow.
No doubt the world loves him.
Thank you George. Thank you, you know why.

This boy can never let that happen. He desparately wants to live a life without responsibility but his undoing is the same moral compass that he uses to his benefit in other matters (at least he thinks so). Thus he is the one true tragedy of this entire saga, a song of the fire he ignites only to douse it with walls/wails of ice.
- Aemon Targareyan once said to our beloved dreamy-eyed Hero, "Kill the boy. Let the man be born."
No doubt the world loves him.
Thank you George. Thank you, you know why.
