Kiss

People commit to love
For they are ignorant of truth
To commit is the easy way out
To be honest, I guess, is not.

What can be the price of a woman's kiss?
Unmatched sanctity of her closed eyelids,
The endless depth of her minutest pull,
Scholar without her kiss is a kid lost in school.

I wonder where the angels reside
For only she brings out the truly divine
A jobless Cupid might ready his strike
A kiss of death is worth a thousand lives.
