So you're an old man,
An old and mysterious man;
And she is a blooming life
As experienced, as you are;
She leans on you as you walk
And she says she loves you -
And you know that it's true,
For apart from loving yourself
What else do you know?
Hey experienced old man,
I hate to break it so soon
She's a mere child and
Yet she's as experienced as you.
She will always be someone's story
A poem, a book, raw and new
Your mystery, though will still remain
Unsolved, but only to you.
p.s. I was really tempted to call it "The old man and the she". I know it's a pathetic pun. But it nevertheless put a smile on my lips. So judge me all you want, but why not with a smile?
