And I'm falling...
Like the leaves, who fell
In love with Summer;
And then turned yellow
For Summer never meant to stay.
Just like they fall all around me,
I fall along with them to see
The depth of their miseries.
A few of the leaves are still red,
Like the woman who never ages
In her own eyes; all but her know
The eventuality surrounding her,
Surrounding them; a simple truth
Beauty was made to fall
And thus, an eternal seeker,
I am falling too, only to follow her.
Like the leaves, who fell
In love with Summer;
And then turned yellow
For Summer never meant to stay.
Just like they fall all around me,
I fall along with them to see
The depth of their miseries.
A few of the leaves are still red,
Like the woman who never ages
In her own eyes; all but her know
The eventuality surrounding her,
Surrounding them; a simple truth
Beauty was made to fall
And thus, an eternal seeker,
I am falling too, only to follow her.
