Sweet Tooth

There's a sweet land up there somewhere,
Where anything that's soft on the tongue resides;
A land of deep fried habudubu chhana
With a lake of unabashed jaggery, mishti-doi.
Sweetizens, global, traded amongst each other,
Traded each with the other; croissant, pain chocolat;
And some even with a few Madeleines to offer, until -
The truffle arrived in all its glory, and the game was over.

p.s. It is of general belief that sugar rushes to the brain.
