Twilights

I only have a short story to tell
Of a few lost footsteps,
And trapped raindrops
Along cobbled streets;
Vibrating in the bustle
And reflecting the what-ifs within;

And of those pairs of eyes
Lost forever in shades of twilight.

Of a city overwhelmed in pride
Of a story, dropped and intertwined.
