My words, like handsome raindrops
Fell all over her window panes
And the glass shattered under their weight;
She wrote to me of a thousand sorrows
Questions, begging for another tomorrow
Yet, like raindrops, the silence fell.
New dust gathers all over my portrait
Colours, thick and past stay hidden
Like they were probably meant to be;
In your eyes I am a few random pixels
A one shot, Expendable memory
And yet the dust tells another story.
My sky is cloudy tonight
Pastels, all white and grey
Lightning, wings of a thunderbird
Fire, where rhymes once stayed
Courtrooms burn along my spine
For judgement's never in love's way.
Fell all over her window panes
And the glass shattered under their weight;
She wrote to me of a thousand sorrows
Questions, begging for another tomorrow
Yet, like raindrops, the silence fell.
New dust gathers all over my portrait
Colours, thick and past stay hidden
Like they were probably meant to be;
In your eyes I am a few random pixels
A one shot, Expendable memory
And yet the dust tells another story.
My sky is cloudy tonight
Pastels, all white and grey
Lightning, wings of a thunderbird
Fire, where rhymes once stayed
Courtrooms burn along my spine
For judgement's never in love's way.
